I was born in 1987 in Ciénaga, Magdalena, a town on the Caribbean coast of Colombia.
I was molded by the contrast of two different cultures, the “Antioqueñ@” and the “Costeñ@”
I startarted filmmaking studies in 2005 in Santa Marta, Magdalena, State University.
By 2010 I started to exhibit my photographs in cultural institutions that promote art, in 2012 was my first collective show funded by the Colombian Ministry of Culture, I had my first experience teaching photography also
In 2014 I was published in an photography magazine called ‘C-Heads’ and in the german media ‘Stern’, I exhibited my work in the Public Libraries in Medellin, and was part of “Imagen Regional 2014” a program of Bank of Colombian Republic I had my first collective show in ‘Museo Boivariano de Arte Contemporaneo’ ‘Notas de Luz’. at the time I was a video producer for the National Multimedia Platform “En Orbita” a program about the contemporary culture in Colombia.
In 2015 I moved to the U.S.A. and kept on photographing while working in labor jobs.
In 2016 and 2017 I was featured by AI-AP. In 2019 I was published NGO Magazine ‘Nueva Luz’.
In 2022 one of my photographs became part of the ‘Museo Bolivariano de Arte Contemporaneo’ collection through a national program named ‘Reactivarte’
In 2023 I did a workshop with the NGO Anyone-Anywhere and The Brooklyn Library.
I’ve been a Security Guard at The Met Museum since 2016, and I keep doing photography constantly.
